Our Commitment
M.I.I Asset & Operations Management L.T.D is committed to making its website accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
This statement applies to www.mii-management.com.
Conformance Status
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to identify and resolve these gaps.
Accessibility Features in Place
- Semantic HTML — the page uses proper heading hierarchy (
h1,h2,h3), landmark elements (nav, main, footer), and lists for structured content. - Language declaration — the
lang="en"attribute is set on the<html>element to assist screen readers. - Alternative text — all meaningful images include descriptive
altattributes. - Keyboard navigation — all interactive elements (links, buttons, form fields) are reachable and operable via keyboard alone.
- ARIA labels — interactive components such as the mobile menu toggle and modal dialogs use appropriate ARIA roles and labels (
aria-label,aria-modal,role="dialog"). - Colour contrast — text and background colour combinations have been selected to meet WCAG AA minimum contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text).
- Resizable text — the layout uses relative units (
rem,em,clamp()) so text remains readable when the browser zoom level is increased up to 200%. - Focus indicators — visible focus styles are preserved for keyboard users.
- No autoplay media — the website contains no autoplaying audio or video.
- No seizure-triggering content — no content flashes more than three times per second.
- Escape key support — modal dialogs can be closed using the Escape key.
- Skip-to-content — a back-to-top button is provided; a skip navigation link will be added in a future update.
Known Limitations
We are aware of the following issues and are working to resolve them:
- Skip navigation link — a "Skip to main content" link at the top of each page is not yet implemented. Keyboard users must tab through the navigation on each page load.
- Modal focus trap — when a modal dialog is open, focus is not fully trapped within the modal on all browser/screen-reader combinations. Users can Tab out of the modal unintentionally.
- Form error messages — contact form validation errors are not currently announced to screen readers via
aria-liveregions. We plan to address this in an upcoming update. - Mobile menu state — the hamburger menu button updates its appearance visually when open but does not yet update
aria-expandeddynamically in all states.
